A Home Away from Home

The UAE is a vibrant country with a large population of expatriate workers from countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Nepal. These individuals move to the UAE seeking better opportunities, but often leave their families and communities behind, which can lead to feelings of displacement, loneliness, and difficulty adapting to a new environment.

Home Away provides social support and a sense of belonging to these workers through community-based activities. The initiative was founded to address the challenges that workers face when they are away from their homes. We believe that by creating opportunities for positive social interaction, we can boost morale and improve the overall quality of life for all individuals. 

Home Away organizes and facilitates sports and other community-based activities designed to help workers connect with one another, build friendships, and find a sense of belonging in their new home.
